He has been consistently ranked as one of the 3 or 4 WORST umpires in MLB. Why does this idiot still have a job as a MLB ump? He deserves to be suspended for baiting Wandy. I was listening to the Angels radio broadcast and they were pissed that he was baiting Wandy. They said the pitch was clearly a strike and that the delay of the game was all his fault. The bottom two umps in rankings should be FIRED every year and replaced with the minor league vacation subs. There is absolutely no reason for the fans and players to have to tolerate the likes of Angel Hernandez. He is simply incompetent and quite likely mentally unstable.

Angel only wanted them to list things he felt he was good at. Which would have left out umpiring too.

CB Buckner is bad because, .... well he's just bad and probably only has the job because he is black. Angel Hernandez is malignantly bad. He goes out of the way to bait the players and become the center of attention. He goes out of the way to try to show up the players. He needs to be summarily dismissed.

Here is a link, I can't get it to open today, but yesterday it did. It had a yearly listing where Angel went out of his way to bait and embarass ballplayers and coaches. His behavior is simply unacceptable. He is an embarrassment to the game and the profession.

Angel Hhernandez. Funny coincidence that his initials are representative of his demeanor...a$$HOLE!

I would love to be at a game with him at 3rd or 1st and give him a much neeeded ration of sh*t. Of course he has probably been on the receiving end of that several times already. I'm surprised he hasn't ejected a fan.

Actually, he has. The link I provided had an incident where a pro wrestler was in the Cubs booth in the 7th for the celebrity sing-along. Angel had made a bad call against the Cubs. So the guy says, "Hey fans, don't worry about that call. Mongo will visit the ump after the game." Angel ejected him.

The next time he baits an Astro pitcher, Garner should pull the team off the field and explain to the crewchief that they will not return to the field unless and until Angel is escorted off the field. Sure, we'd forfeit the game, but it would be highly embarrassing for MLB to explain and handle

I clicked that link and read all about that incident and that is not the type of incident I am referring to. I was referring to a ticket paying fan that is sitting behind the plate or behind one of the dugouts. Your link does not answer my question nor does it refer to an incident involving a fan.
