Lowry is very tough vs lefties, struggles vs righties, i agree on the move.
Now, I prefer Loretta at 2nd and Ensberg at first, i think Biggio is a very bad hitter.

Just for the record, Biggio's OBP is under .300
Burke is BETTER than Biggio

well i dont subscribe to the righty lefty thing..For example.. if alex rodriguez starts to struggle against lefties will the yankees take him out and start maybe miguel cairo or someone else who might be hitting better vs lefties?
How about the cardinals bench albert pujols? he is afterall only batting .185 vs lefties...

Great players are great because they traditionally avoid the big splits. If you have a bunch of parts and you're trying to find a combination that works, there's nothing wrong with paying attention to their stats in those situations.

I dont altogether reject that but that doesnt appear to be the way garner coaches...ive seen him not play lamb, loretta and scott no matter who's pitching...I truly believe he has it in for lamb. loretta just has no where to play

Loretta has a placed to play but organization want to have a bad hitter play regular at 2nd base.

well hembo, after that weak at bat by scott in the 8th you see why he was not playing tonight, the pitcher is very tough vs lefties.
Now, i have no idea why Lamb did not pinch hit instead.

these guys arent given a chance...scott needs to be out there every single day until at least the all star break
look how many people have come through here recently that biggio has held them down...burke, bruntlett, loretta and the big one jeff kent..all are gone, but one(loretta) imagine mr clutch jeff kent batting alongside lee, berkman and pence.. It would be one of the best lineups in baseball...nope, mcclain will keep his majesty biggio here as long as biggio shows up....

I agree, Biggio should not be starting.
Ok, organization will give you an opportunity but as a bench player.

ya what the hell is that? loretta hit .300 when he was here last, hit .300 in san diego, hit .300 in boston..whats it take? Not only that wasnt he in all star in san diego and boston? Thats beside the point though(if not factual) the bottom line is biggio has got to go.. will the club grow some nads when he gets the 3000 hit or will they continue to let him drag his old tired ass out to second?

Luke, according to Milo, was hitting over .462 before his pinch hit against lefties, best in the entire league either righty or lefty hitting. Of course Milo neglected to mention that's only in 13 ab.
