I found this and thought typical of Garner and his lame attitude While the Houston Astros were in Anaheim last week, Phil Garner fielded a question that began, "As you're getting the back end of your bullpen together …" To which he corrected, "The back end of our bullpen is together." To which the back end of his bullpen replied with one of the more gruesome weeks of the season, including sending Brad Lidge (say what you will, he'd allowed three earned runs since April 20) to the DL. From Monday to Monday, in the seventh inning or later, Astros relievers combined to pitch 15 innings and allow 26 hits, 10 walks and 22 runs, all earned. Not surprisingly, the Astros lost five of the seven games, despite scoring 40 runs in them. sports.yahoo.com/mlb/blog/mlb_experts/post/Five-and-Fly-First-to-third?urn=mlb,37562

this has to be one of the worse BP in Modern Era of Baseball. I have never seen a BP give up this many runs in a row. Last 8 games a total of 27 runs given up by the BP. This is surreal

As of yesterday the Lastros had a bullpen ERA of, get this, 14.92! Hell, I think that Columbus could pitch better than these a**es and he's been DEAD for 500 years! I think I read somewhere that this is the worst ERA for a bullpen since the late 1950's. This is not a good indication of things to come for this team. ALL HAIL THE BREWERS! What?(Very facetious take.)

The bullpen's ERA just dropped considerably with the release of Rick White and Randolph.
