We can say plenty about bonds, clemens, maddux, biggio and glavine, and its probably right...but..I think we have to stop and really consider that we are watching history. In the history of baseball there have been this many future HOF'ers playing at the same time, but just not in my lifetime. So i enjoy it more than some probably will.. I think the guys like palmer, ryan, seaver, brett, schmidt all played at the same time(give or take) but most of their careers started when i was young or not born yet so i dont appreciate it as much..I was in 7th or 8th when clemens started so i have been following all these guys from day 1..


The current group of guys will soon join the best of the best and if you enjoy baseball, you enjoy watching this history...the bonds and roids thing, biggio hanging on when not wanted, glavine looking for 300 and maddux doing whatever , i think we have to stop ourselves and give these guys credit for something they rightly deserve to get...

I didnt realize it ,until recently, but Biggio is a true hero and i think while he shouldnt have started the season, i do think he should be allowed this milestone. If you are as big of astro fans as you say, you cant deny how truly gifted a ballplayer he was. He has been the heart and soul of this team for 2 decades and anybody who doesnt agree is fckn stupid.

People can say bonds cheated (and we know he did) but he was one of the best before all this crap. Plus, no matter how much juice you and i do theres no way we have the talent to hit 30 hr's in a season let alone 70..Thats a ton.....

anyways....i think this is my favorite season for the above reasons...watching three of the best pitchers ever is a treat(maddux, glavine, clemens). watching some of the best all around players(biggio and bonds) is a treat as well

Jason Stark thinks MLB wont allow Bonds to get the record. He thinks they are going to give Bonds the order to talk and if he doesnt he will be suspended.

They cant force him to admit to something...If he admits to it he will probably be charged elsewhere...didnt he say under oath somewhere that he never did anything? Thats perjury..I think he will take the suspension and enlist al and jessie

If you know he did, you know a lot more than most people do. Where has it been proven? Other than the court of public opinion, where has he been charged, given a trial and proven guilty?
