I then told him to show me what he's got, that he talks a big game and then I told him to limp back to the dugout where he belongs and I even said some things about his Mom. I told him I might be fat, but I could still play center field:) It was an incredible exchange to say the least. After the 6th inning he walks out and stops to talk to me holding a brown paper bag in his hand. He motions to throw it to me and I told him no, I know that trick. He laughs and says catch it, so I put up my hands and he tosses it over. He wouldn't leave until I opened it and when I finally did, the whole place erupted with laughter. Griffey throws me his jock...

"When Griffey came back in, I told him I was sorry about what said about his mom and that I wanted to make up. He shot me a grin. When he came out in the 8th he shot me another smile, and I told him he still has the greatest swing in baseball. I hope he heard me, I think he did. I love Griffey."

It kinda says something about this dude if another guy gives him his banana sling and suddenly this dude develops love for the other guy.

The only games i made sure i was at were the ones with Atlanta...My boys and i use to absolutely crucify ryan klesko. I can tell you this..he gave as much back..language and all...he was easy to get to. he came over and i though was going to jump the fence....

my other greatest (or dumbest) moment was back in the day ..as a young teen we would camp out behind the dugouts and more or less throw cards or baseballs down and hope someone would sign them.. back in those days there werent a ton of guys hanging out waiting for autos but then again we always got there early. Went to the giants game and this tall black guy comes out of the dugout and asked if we(about 6 of us) were waiting for autos(he had a pen in his hand) 'yes sir' can you get jack clark for us..he tossed some balls up to us and walked off..

clark of course never showed until the game..went back to our seats with nothing ,and dad said' wow, thats cool you guys got frank robinsons auto' frank who?
