I agree, We won't know for sure what Burke can do as long as he is being held back by the presence of Biggio.

Biggio has his 3000 hits, the team has demonstrated no inclination to even very good much less greatness, so now is the time to play the kids and trade those that do not fit in long term.
Scott - hell we have no idea, is he the guy who played last year or this year's version. Let him play and let's see so we can make plans
Burke- who knows we keep d*cking around and never letting this guy go, let him play and let's see.
Ensburg- let him play and see. He needs to get his stuff together or get gone. No team in its right mind will pay anything for him unless he starts to rake and if he starts to rake why trade him. So let him play and if he is worth a sh*t long term keep him and if not see ya.
Lamb- Hell I like the guy but he is not the kind of guy you have on a championship team. Never has been a fielder but can rake, trade him and get what you can from an AL team for a dh spot down the stretch.
Lidge- let him go between now and the trade deadline to see if he has anything that people want, he is not the long term guy for us so get what you can while you can. The guy has value, showcase it
Jennings- suck it up and admit that you screwed up and get what you can while you can. No long term position on a championship team so get him gone and cut your losses.
Everyone else, just stay the course and see what shakes out. This team is not that far away, it does need work though.
