He is offically second in the NL for batting average...But since thats not important, i guess it doesnt matter..But its an astro so watch that be the most telling stat LMAO

Again you show serious flaws in logic, hembo. When I say that you can't reasonably judge a player's total offensive ability by batting average alone, that doesn't necessarily mean i think that batting average doesn't matter. It just doesn't tell you enough by itself to mean much by itself. There are far too many things that a hitter can do that positively affect the run production that are not measured by such a rudimentary stat by itself.
