Just heard on ESPN that Bonds and Griffey are laying out of the Home Run Derby. That's a sorry thing for Bonds to do since Giants fans worked so hard to get him voted in as a starter in his home park when he didn't deserve it. Now, the juiced-up prima donna thanks them by not being in the Home Run Derby. Just another no-class move by a jerk.

I agree 100% and griffey was the top vote getter...This isnt the first time this has happened with griffey either.

Having this type of trash as role models is one reason why young black kids don't want to play baseball. Great example set by a couple of clods who could be picking cotton in Alabama if not for baseball.

The 'gangsta' basketball image suits them more. That is the main reason why I cannot stand the NBA.

The NBA is a legalized street fight with its participants being a bunch of undisciplined thugs. If they had mostly guys like Tim Duncan, Steve Nash, etc., it would be a good league. Unfortunately, those guys are outnumbered by trash like Allen Iverson, Ron Artest, Rasheed Wallace, Bonzie Wells, and that crowd.

Wow...baron couldnt be more correct..Guys like Duncan ,David Robinson, jordan, shaq ,these type of guys did so much for the sport..others like iverson have tried with every move to bring that down... shaq is a genuine good guy..he does a ton for the community, is a reserve police officer, donates time and money etc...he is a class act...I havent watched a game since that guy refused to stand for the national anthem(cant remember his name) ..I would have thrown every thing i could find had i been there...Its a thug mentality and unfortunately the young are easily corrupted
This griffey/bonds thing makes me sick..fck those two...
