Yes.. so what? Wandy has been good this year. A 4+ ERA in todays game isnt ACE stuff, but its still good. His season didnt just go down the tubes because of todays game.

Not what you said before. You said a pitcher with a WHIP of 1.20 is a good pitcher having a good year.
LOL Funny stuff Vega. You flip flop more than anyone I have ever seen. I almost beleive that if I started praising Felix Hernandez you would start telling me how bad he is.

wandy is having a good year, but i would not bet on him because what he showed today is what we are ACCUSTUME to see. Same thing happen last year, he started good, finished bad, looks like he will do it again?  ? Now, don't ever said 4 plus ERA is good, now, the whip is good and it shows he is having a good year. Tell me where I SAID HE IS HAVING A BAD YEAR. What i said is, he has a 4 plus ERA, which is MORE LIKE WANDY, REALLY. You expect Wandy to have an ERA under 4? ??// Second, where did i say he is having a bad year? Where? ?? Actually, in another post i said he is having a good year. Third, yes, the whip tells me more than the ERA about Wandy this year, agree. Fourth, i will say that i can see more games like this one from Wandy because he is NOT a good pitcher, and again i will tell you, Woody will have a better second half than Wandy. Now, if instead of picking fights you would actually read what i am saying then you would realized THAT I NEVER SAID HE IS HAVING A BAD YEAR. |

Now Wandy is having a good year? You said a 4 ERA isnt good.
Wandy has NEVER pitched this good this late in the season.

I said 4 plus ERA is not good, BUT, I AM ON THE RECORD SAYING THAT WHIP IS WHAT TELLS ME IF A PITCHER IS HAVING A GOOD YEAR, not the ERA, I AM ON THE RECORD.

I never said that Wandy is not having a good eyar, i said the a 4 plus era is not good, but, I AM ON RECORD SAYING I LOOK AT WHIP TO JUDGE HOW A PITCHER IS DOING.

Wandy needs to grow a pair of balls and learn to pitch on the road. A pitcher who sucks everywhere except in his home park isn't worth a hell of a lot to his team.

and for the record, after today's game, Wandy's whip is 1.25, very good.
But, 2 more starts like this one, and his Whip is going to be in the 1.30's, still not as bad as Oswalt, but going up in a hurry.
