They're done. Been done.
They are also the worst team in the N.L., possibly the M.L.

If they lose this series to the Nationals, they should be crowned the worst team in the NL. Maybe then, Draytie will fire fat little Timmy.

That Astros are done for 2007? / No, I wouldn't say that at all. Oh sure, they aren't going to make the playoffs, but let us see how much, if any, they improve before the end of the season. Don't be a buyer or seller. Keep Tim and CrapIron until the season is over, they go out and get a new gm and mgr. make them sit down and evaluate the talent, 'cause we all know Tim and Garner are not good evaluators....

Example, waste of time and game tonight, we don't see Scott nor Burke play and instead? We see Biggio and Bruntlett? / This is an awful team with no vision.

Burke has been playing. Did you honestly think Biggio wouldnt play another game?
But yes, the Astros are done for 2007 and will be for 2008 if they dont get some trades going.

Yes, he should retire, give him the team to manage and play Burke, if not, is a WASTE OF GAME having Loretta and Biggio playing, why? ? Because they are not the future and the present is awful, we need to DEVELOP the young guys, is time to tell Biggio, WE GAVE YOU THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET 3,000 HITS, IS TIME FOR YOU TO RETIRE.

the entire team (outside pence and lee) are horrible...all of them..Theres not one single stat you can throw out to prove this team and its players are worth a chit..you may be able to on this board but nowhere else.

Hell, they are not going to tell Biggio to retire, they might hurt his little feelings. This ass doesn't care bout the team anymore (if he ever truly did). It's all about his "legacy".

Don't be surprised if Biggio is the new manager after Garner gets fired in part because he had to play the icon so he could get his 3,000 hits. Get ready for this..........Biggio as manager, Bagwell as bench coach, and Ausmus as pitching coach.
