enough has been said about this punk, but the astros should seriously consider trading for some prospects..especially now...Its obvious his best days are behind him so why not trade him to a team who will no doubt be in post season? I think berkman would thrive in a DH role and maybe some spot starts at 1st... i'd shop him to Boston or the angels...

I hate to say it...but I dont think anyone should be sacred...except pence....You have to trade good guys get several prospects...the only way to rebuild.....We once got Finley, harnish and Schilling for glen davis...and he was our best player at the time.
The Cowboys built a dynasty on the trade of hershal Walker who was the only good player they had.
I dont want to trade berkman...but if we get a great offer, I say take it

He's having an off year and now it's obvious that his best days are gone? Of course it's possible that he's on some sort of decline, but I don't think it's obvious.
He's one of the top hitters in the league and he's locked up for 4 more years at a relatively good price. I'd keep him, but that's just my opinion.
I don't see either of those teams as really needing a DH/1b.

Well, for some reason I thought the angels had more at 1b. They have Kotchman starting there and Garrett Anderson's been playing some DH.
From what I hear, the Red Sox want ARod really badly.

I dont think PAYrod will sign a 10/250. It will take a 10/300.

Berkman doesn't need to be traded. He needs someone to light a fire under his ass and make him play.

Can't say I'm surprised.

I wouldn't turn down an offer of three #1 prospects for Berkman. He just seems like he doesn't care and his head is up his butt most of the time. I thought that bringing his boyfriend back from RR would help. It did for awhile but now he's back to being the same dumbass he was before Burke came back.

gallo..where have you been? still sucking co ck to get general admission? You're worthless... Another dumbass post. First trying to trade one of the 3 most valuable players on the roster, and now providing the usual 3 year old smack talk. Why not try something original rather than rehashing the same tired jokes that are not provable? I could just as easily call you a racist homosexual pedophile (which you probably are), but none of it changes the fact that you don't have a damn clue about even the most basic conecpts regarding baseball. Here's an interesting thought: why don't go out to your shack, pull out some rope, and hang yourself. You might find that the world would become a much more intelligent place. It might even give the world a vaild reason to celebrate together.
