This guy is a pathetic joke of a pitcher. He gets two outs, walks two guys and then whines to the umpire about the mound. He then gives up back to back doubles and we are behind 3-0. What a joke! We gave up Taveras and two young pitchers for this fraud.  |

IF, BIG IF Garner and Purpura stay thru their current contracts they would only be signed thru 2008. Where do you get 3 years AND why are they scewed?

They are talking baseball! Come on, can anyone honestly believe that PooPoora or Scrap Heap deserve to keep their jobs? I am already ordering a Brewers cap to wear to the next Lastros game I attend. While I really don't like them either, I would think that if the players saw a sea of opponents caps in the stands that they would get pissed enough to play harder. Oh wait, we are talking about the Lastros here.....sorry. They are all on Prozac, they can't get mad. |

Garner is not the best manager around but he isn't too blame for this pile of crap that we now call the Astros. This mess can be blamed solely on Drayton MacLane and Tim Purpura. Everytime I see Jason Jennings go to the mound and cough up another game, I'm reminded of how fat little Timmy gave away a SPEEDY centerfielder who is hitting over .300 and two young pitchers for this injury-prone bum who is in the walk year of his contract. If Drayton doesn't fire Purpura, every season ticket holder should refuse to renew for next season.
