Guess Ripken and Gwynn will be taking their places in the hall this weekend.. Biggio in a few years.. Its weird because i grew up watching and idolizing these guys..I realize Gwynn and Ripken havent played in a number of years but all my favorites are heading out..Maddux is another one i enjoyed watching because he was one in a very select few dominators...

I enjoy watching baseball now of course but i just dont follow any one player...Maybe thats the answer to a lot of my postings..I blast all equally. I blast all equally because i compare them to the guys i watched growing up.

I was one of the few people i knew/know who thought Steve Garvey was the sh*t...Even to this day i think he was awesome..The numbers may not be there but we cant waiver in our long standing opinions. I dont argue this because i know his numbers will not win...I dont have a problem with people having favorites. My problem has always been blind believing you're right until you look really bad(like in a certain shortstops argument) but thats another thread....

Anyways, if i have ripped anybody or blasted your favorites, i apologize

Steve Garvey didn't need a batting helmet, his hairdoo did the trick all by itself. He had the classic hair helmet.

Garvey was a nice player and really good for a stretch of years. But he is a piece of sh*t as a human being.
