What do you think?
Dunn at 1st and Berkman in RF ?
or
Teixeira at 1st and Berkman in RF?
Burke 2nd Pence CF Berkman RF Lee LF Tex/Dunn 1st Lamb 3rd FA Catcher/ guy from minors/Munson ... I have no idea Everett SS
Thats a pretty serious lineup. They might score a few runs.
I dont think the Astros can get Teixeira because it would take Patton and whatever talent the Astros have left down on the farm. But who knows. Tex isnt a rental because he is still under team control for 2008. Drayton would have to add payroll to do this because we still need some pitching. But this would be a great offense.
Just an idea...

Well.. I just found out Teixiera's agent is Scott Borass.
NEVERMIND.
So.. lets just think about Adam Dunn. This guy has already stated he wants to play in Houston at some point in his career. I think the Astros need to go get this guy.

with Lee in left, and berkman in right, you have a great hitting outfield, .....but, Pence would have to play center on a bicycle...Lee does ok...and berkman is not a bad outfielder, but neither cover much ground.

Keep Berkman at first base and we don't need to trade for Adam Dunn, who is at the top of the league in strikeouts. If you want speed in the outfield, go get Tori Hunter or Carl Crawford. Pence can play right. Trade for or sign a third baseman.
