Ty Wigginton.
I am not sure about this one. It is an upgrade at 3rd, I guess.

Then this tells me Lamb is gone. Maybe we get alot for Lamb.
Why we would need Ensberg, Lamb and Wiggington I wouldnt have a clue.

Stupid trade, then again, it was a trade between Purp and Hun, WHO DO YOU THINK IS GOING TO WIN ON THAT ONE? ? Lamb is a better bat.

hun loves wheeler, second time around he traded for him. Hun made the move even if he is 'NOT the GM in Tampa, this was his call, it has Hun all over it. What is our next move, Lidge for Julio Lugo? ??/

What a f**king awful trade.
My mentally handicapped Aunt Lula would make a better GM than the little piggy.
Trade a very good set-up man for a trash utility player. He can't get on base. He's a pathetic excuse for a regular. Lamb is a far better hitter. We didn't need a platoon player that badly. Good set-up men are worth more than platoon players. Just ridiculous.
I'm not saying Wiggington has no use here. f he got at-bats instead of Ensberg against lefties at 3rd he would be alright. He;s a solid utility guy. But Wheeler has been a consistently good picther for the past 4 seasons.
Piggy needs to be fired. Immediately!

Piggy has done a lot of damage for the past 3 years, he has this team on the wrong road for the next 5 years.

The point was to trade our tradeable guys for young guys to build for the future. Wiggy doesn't have a future.

This trade equal the one this fat little a$$h*le made for Jason Jennings. Why the hell would you trade Wheeler for Wigginton?? We could have gotten more for Wheeler by dealing with a team in the pennant race, like Detroit or Cleveland. Another dumb move by the worst GM in baseball.
I'm sure that Lamb or Ensberg will be gone after this deal. Trade Lamb and then re-sign this winter.

If it gets rid of Ensberg then maybe it isnt so bad a deal.

If it gets rid of Ensberg then maybe it isnt so bad a deal. Amen to that. Ensberg seems to think he might go and I tend to agree with him. I trust we are going to make a deal for some young pitching and try to find a catcher.

If Tim Purpura trades Ensberg for anything of even slight value I will say he isnt as bad a GM as we are thinking he is.
