Garner decides to order an intentional walk to Miguel Cabrera with two outs and NOBODY on base in the 12th because he's afraid of a home run. He has this idiot, Randolph, on the mound. He issues four balls to Cabrera and then throws two wild pitches with the winning run scoring on the second one because the ball went into the dugout. UNBELIEVABLE!!

So much for your truce. I guess you just cant help yourself. Try harder.
How was a being a fckn prick? I asked you a simple question. He threw a wild pitch. Big deal. How many wild pitches end up being 2 base wild pitch and end a game? How on earth can that 1 pitch mean he sucks? Garner should have never walked Cabrera. Its Garners fault Cabrera was on base. Randolph had pitched just fine up until that point and the the IBB probably took him out of his rythym. Garner left Jennings in 1 inning too long and then made the wrong move walking Cabrera. If that question is all it takes for someone to be a fckn prick then I just dont know what to say.

I agree that one wild pitch doesnt make a guy a loser....but you have to admit that frustration sets in when the manager decides to walk a guy with nobody on base....the pitcher then throws a wild pitch advancing the runner to second....then throws a SECOND wild pitch that brings him home
you could almost call it a walkoff intentional walk

NO I agree. I dont think Randolph is anything special. I truly thought that he pitched pretty well lastnite and I wanted to know what in the hell he did to make the great and all knowing hembo say he sucked. I truly beleive that Garner should have left things alone and let Randolph pitch to Cabrera. IBB's will take a pitcher out of his rythym and I am sure thats what happened here.
I truly was asking a real question.

Garner was 100% RIGHT in ordering the intentional walk to Cabrera. He wasn't going to let this guy beat him with a home run. Randolph proved why he's a career minor-leaguer by not being able to go after the next guy and get him. Where Garner screwed up was allowing Jennings to stay in longer enough to give up Cabrera's homer that tied the game at 5-5.

no ab..you do it on purpose..There is a truce but im tired of a few of you being pricks anyways..The way you worded that you were definitely being a prick..You cant tell that a guy is horrible when theres a game winning situation on base and he throws 2 wild pitches? I wasnt basing it on just that but factoring in his last few games as well...it doesnt take much to see that this guy is horrible.

Remember the old line: "Da Bums (Brooklyn Bridegrooms/Superbas/Robins/TrolleyDodgers) got "tree"men on base. [reponse]: "Which base?"
I have seen games ended on wild pitches. I've seen runners score from second on wild pitches (but never to end the game). But I have NEVER seen a walk-off IBB. The '62 Mets couldn't have pulled that off.
I think Munson never re-touched the ball and that the umps fncked up the ruling, but neither they nor anyone else really gives a $hit at this point in the season in an extra-inning game between two losers in the dog days. But, just out of principle, the umps can go fnck themselves just the same. They only see fit to call conferences to take away apparent triple plays from us.

Garner should have never walked Cabrera. Its Garners fault Cabrera was on base. Randolph had pitched just fine up until that point and the the IBB probably took him out of his rythym. Garner left Jennings in 1 inning too long and then made the wrong move walking Cabrera. Firstly, he didn't throw one wild pitch, he threw two. Secondly, his ERA is over 12. He's allowed 9 walks and 3 HR's in 7 innings. If all it takes is one intentional walk to "take him out of his rythym", he should immediately retire from professioonal baseball. Even though, I suggest his pitching ability leads to the same result.
