unless ausmus or munson are the future of the astros catching wouldnt it be nice to see one of the minor leaguers get some at bats? could it really hurt?

Why? Come up here and sit the bench? Munson is hitting pretty well. Towles isnt ready. He needs to play everyday in AA and then AAA. Alot of these players will come up in 4 weeks when the rosters expand. No reason to bring them up now.
It could hurt because you would be releasing someone who is getting paid.

Munson has a place on this team. Not as an everyday Catcher, but he can hit a little so he is a decent backup and pinch hitter. Ausmus is gone after this year. I still dont understand what it is you want them to do. This isnt beer league softball where you just get rid of guys and bring in whoever you want.
What is the specific move you would make right now hembo?

I thought it was a beer league team especially when jennings pitch.

Munson is one of the worst catchers I've ever seen. He makes Mike Piazza look good.

OK... make up your mind. Do you want defense or offense. Munson can hit.
