I said i would NOT trade Hirsh for Jennings one on one, much less give 2 more players in the deal.
Right now Hirsh is having a much better year in a very difficult park over Jennings.
INCREDIBLE how dumb our GM is.

LOL... We know Vega. This isnt news. Jennings has been horrible and the trade didnt work out. It happens.
Colorado isnt what it one was because of how they treat the baseballs now. Just because Hirsh has been better doesnt mean he is good. It isnt hard to be better than Jennings has been.
I am mad more over the loss of Willy T than Hirsh. There alot of Jason Hirshs out there.

We could use a Jason Hirsh on our team right now.

Thats correct. The humidor. They load the balls up with water bascially and they dont fly as far. Homers are down in Colorado.
I agree I would rather have Hirsh than Jennings or Woody for that matter, but I also understand the trade and the chance they took and why. It didnt work out. It happens to all GM's. But it isnt like we gave up a young Oswalt, Peavy and Beltran for Jennings. We gave up 2 pitchers who are at best bottom of the rotation guys and a CF who might be having a career year. That trade didnt wreck the franchise for years. Hirsh and Willy wouldnt have made that much a difference in this season.

whoa!!!...they treat the baseballs in a humidor?...is that just for Colorado/...is that just for the visiting team?...When teams used to heavily water down the infields, at least they had to play on the same ground....when you start 'doctoring ' baseballs...that is WAY to easy to cheat with...say it aint so!...dry balls for our guys...wet balls for visiting teams...easy
