This team is unable to score runs, it seems we can't hit lefties.
It does not look like this team will hit enough to be competitive this year.

was there any doubt Ausmus was going to hit for a double play?
Instead of carrying 12 pitchers we should carry 3 catchers to pinch hit for Ausmus in these situations.
Munson should be called up and send Albers down and have Mohler take that spot in rotation.
Once Jennings is ready, then Mohler or Palmeiro could be the ones out.

If the Brewers come back to earth, our entire division isn't competitive.

Brewers lost, 5 to 2.
Funny, after i wrote this we hit 7 singles in one inning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think we should have Pence hitting 5th for a long time now.
Also, we have to play Loretta at SS more.

Lidge pitched a great 7 inning. Wandy gave us a very good game AGAIN. He is looking like a strong number 5 starter if he continues like this. Why still 5th? Because he will be inconsistent and give you too many bad games (so far bad games are few) with control problems. Sampson is looking good also. Albers has to be sent to triple a, he was moved from double a last year (i thought it was a mistake) and this year was struggling at triple a, he has NO BUSINESS in the majors.

well, now under .500 AGAIN and 5.5 games out.
This team really look bad.
Is a pity that Pettitte and Clemens are with the yankees, i can't stand Albers and Woody any more.

wandy sucks..I dont care if his next two games are perfect games, he is still horrible...he will have a 5.00 ERA and not be .500 by end of year...Count on it...

If he can keep up his 2007 pace, we might have to forget the notion that he sucks. He'll not be a Cy Young contender, but he'll be decent in the 4th/5th spot.
So far this year he's increased his K/9ip rate by ~33%, cut his walk/9ip ratio down almost in half, and more than doubled his k/bb rate. Plus, he's allowing fewer hits than IP.
IF (and that's a big IF) he continues not to walk guys, he'll be decent.

So far Wandy is doing a great job, lets see what happens.
Now, Albers and Woody suck.
Big mistake of signing Woody over Pettitte, then again, I don't expect much from Purpura.
