Question related to last nights game; during one of the times the Astros had the bases loaded but failed to score (sorry I can't be more specific) there seemed to be a controversy of some kind.
Manso and Garner and then all the umps had a few meetings and then the Pirates manager got involved. It must have been during extra innings because I believe the Pirates had brought one of their outfielders into the infield.
I was at the game so there was no explanation.
Thanks for the help.

Patton looked good. He gave up a couple of home runs but what makes things look bad is the pathetic Astro offense.

I think the contraversy was due to the fact that the Piarates hand an extra infielder (and only two outfielders) one of the infielders was directly behind the pitcher and moving around thus distracting the batter (Pence) I think that the umpires ruled something like that the guy at that spot had to stay in position once the pitcher started his windup. Didn't matter because Pence got an out on the next pitch anyway.
