after 5.2 innings 4 runs -3 earned and three walks and 8 hits with 91 pitches and 50 strikes. Not a terrible first start after the year off

This guy wasnt stellar before he got hurt..im not sure why everybody was so excited to get him back? just another sub par 500 pitcher who breaks down a lot.....he looked good in the playoffs but so what? he isnt the long term answer and i would pack him, wandy and qualls up for some minor leaguers

agree, awesome in playoffs, number 5, maybe number 4 starter in regular season.
He does not command the strike zone.
He is more of a Wandy type pitcher, if control the strike zone, good, if not, awful.
