It used to be that Gameday had a strike zone box. It was amazing how many calls were missed, usually a ball being called a strike - usually strike three. Now the box is gone. When did they remove it? Did mlb succumb to pressure from the umps? When will mlb wise up an utilize the technology to keep incompetence, vendettas and favoritism out?

They won't. MLB umpires are the lousiest officials next to NBA officials. They don't want a "standardized" strike zone because it implies that they cannot be trusted. I can't believe that they actually let these idiots take vacation during the season! What the hell, they can't work 8 months without a vacation after having 5 MONTHS off?
