Boy, talk about the wheels falling off. It seems a couple or 3 weeks ago they had a real chance to make a run at the NL Central. I recall a few of the talking heads even making them the favorite. But they had neither the guts, character nor talent to pull off a rather "routine" Astros rally. Rumors have their manager and GM headed for Seattle. Didn't they win the WS a year ago?? They evaporated a lot quicker than we did, even WITH $hitholes. Watch that SOB turn into the turd he really is when the Cards fall on hard times.

They got old and they werent very good to start with.
I think there were a few in here that said their offense would carry them to the title again. LMAO!!! They will be lucky to finish ahead of the Astros.

well hembo, cards had MANY INJURIES, Pujols, Edmonds, EncarnaciĆ³n, Eckstein and Rolen. They had Carpenter and Mulder injured. this team has done a great job being in the race up to the last month of the year. great job by Tony Larussa. Astros have a better team but what team HAS A BETTER RECORD? //
