I have to ask again...is this guy doing this with morrors?...both of our guys that watch the minors the most ( Vega and Chandler ) have said that Anderson has very little offensive potential. I trust their judgement. I know I am streching here, but I really hoped he could blossom and hit, even if just a little since he has a few things we desperately need on this team. That being speed and more speed.
A 5 hit game and a 3 hit game...I know they were both in blowouts, but he still had to put bat on ball....is this just a September dream?

I like him a lot. That said, I know he's not as good as he's shown so far in limited time. I'd love for it to be true, and I'm all for giving him the shot in ST to be our everyday CF next year, but I have my doubts.
Ransom should also get a shot to make the team, either as a starter or off the bench. Great glove and he can hit.

Anderson can replace Palmeiro on the roster next season. Lee, Pence, Scott, and Anderson should be on the roster as outfielders. Palmeiro and Jason Lane need to be shown the door.

lee pence and scott need to start..end of story...let luke scott either play or injure himself out of a job...this spot playing we saw under garner doesnt fly...give him til all star break at least. same for burke...both need to get a lot better real soon or i would dump both....we have had this scott/burke conversation about 50 times now but scott is a better prospect when he plays.. that should be clear...
i'll go with chandler for now as i never heard of the guy until he came up a few weeks ago, but no way should this anderson guy be a starter from the gitgo next year
if it were my team i would start this lineup out of spring training
c towles 1b berkman 2b burke(very short leash) ss bruntlett 3b wiggy lf lee cf pence rf scott
i would have this anderson guy along with ransom and loretta on the bench able to jump in when one of the above f**ks up
i'd have pitchers of oswalt backe patton sampson buy someone
i would also have Fernando nieve somewhere in the mix

Bruntlett needs to be let go and replaced on the roster with Ransom. The shortstop will be the best in the National League........Adam Everett. Case closed.

Bruntlett in no way, shape, or form should be the starter. Everett's our SS. If you want to upgrade offensively, then Ransom's the guy to look at. He fields almost as well as Everett and can hit.

then he would be the guy...i know you guys love everett but he is a guaranteed out every 3rd inning...this team doesnt have that luxury...although if scott and burke can hit and if towles hits like he is, then they can afford to have the pitchers spot and wherever mr defense is batting, not hit...he would no longer really be dead weight...

the problem i have with anderson is his lack of walks in the minors, will he walk MORE in the majors? ? If he does, he can start for me, but i don't know if that will happen. I prefer Scott in rf and pence in cf over anderson in cf and pence in rf.

Offensively we'll be better with Lee/pence/Scott. Defensively, obviously it's Lee/Anderson/Pence. I want Scott to get a full time shot.

i dont know much about him vega but this sounds mightly like opposing pitchers dont know how to pitch him yet...i would have heard of him before if he hit like this in the minors
