Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, this year, not too much because my team is built for the next 5 to 10 years.
I am under the cap, the high salaries will go next year (Lowe goes, Lincecum and Garza takes the spot, rookie salaries). I will let Giles go and Burke will take 2nd base, i am saving around 7 millions there, Valentin goes, Iannetta and Montero become backups for me and next year Bengie goes and Montero and Ianneta stays there.
My rotation only guy with high salary will be Peavy because he is arbitration eligible and his numbers are high so contract will increase but Bonderman, Kazmir, King Felix and the rookies still low.
Only high contracts are Berkman, ibanez, Bengie Molina and Peavy next.
So, team is built so i don't really need to spend much time on it.
Probably, this year, playing the games, around 5 hours for the whole year because now the draft is easy, only 5 rounds (usually 1 round per day so it takes about 10 minutes to do that) and the 6th round is organization, of course, i took Astros.
My 5 rounds i took
1. Rowell 2. Deolis Guerra 3. Evarts 4. Fontaine 5. Varvaro 6. Astros organization (Bud Norris is there)
So, draft, took me around 1 hour.
To play the games, this year, around 45 minutes per block, is 6 blocks, so the whole year, around 6 hours.
I did not made any trades this year because the cap is 75 millions and my cap is at 74.01 plus i believe i have a strong team.
Now, for the playoffs is going to take more time because we HAVE to play the games online with other owners.
So, for the whole year, should be close to 10 hours.

Vega, it looks like you have done your homework and successfully built your roto team to be a big player in the playoffs for years to come.
I applaud your efforts and time. Lord knows I would not have the time for such things.
But you simply must realize that roto stuff gives you zero creditability when it comes to baseball related matters. Its a completely different universe.
Thats not to say that you do not have knowledge in baseball related topics. On the contrary, you have shown to be very knowledgeable...in most cases that do not have the word Burke in it.
I am just suggesting that you do not use your roto league as a basis for your superiority complex.

Dennis, i am using my strat league as a basis that i love baseball. This league has HELPED me LEARN about minor league players.
Before I only knew about Astros minor leaguers, with this league i learn FROM ALL ORGANIZATIONS and follow the minor leagues more closely.
