Loretta isnt going to be the everyday SS. If Lorreta is signed he is being signed for 2nd base. Allison Footer made that clear in her mailbag section on Astros.com. Loretta will be the fall back if Burke fails. NOT SS.

Barron, i would not trade Qualls, he is too valuable to this team and our bullpen is very weak as it is.
Thank you Purp, we lost wheeler and springer in one year thanks to this idiot, ohhhhh, but we got White and Mohler instead, GREAT.
Same with rotation, this idiot lost Pettitte and Clemens but got Jennings and Woody, great, and by the way, we lost Buccholz and Hirsh, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

Has anyone heard if PooPoora has been contacted by a really desperate T-ball team that needs a manager yet? ;D

I think the Cubs have offered him a job in field maintenance at their Class A minor league team.

jb actually has a point..with towles hitting they can afford to have everett in the lineup.. now if he is only hitting .250, well, same thing next year...a 1,2,3 inning

Loretta isnt a everyday SS. That just shows how freaking way off you are on what this team needs.
Loretta will relace Burke at 2nd base a LOOOONG time before he replaces Everett.

didnt you already say this? as usual you know next to nothing...although i too would start him at second to begin with Jb was right...If towles can continue to hit, this team will have a opening day lineup just as good(or close) to anybody in the NL..I look for cooper to not wait as long on burke and scott...especially if this anderson guy continues to pound the ball.....Its clear some astros will no doubt be on a very short leash next year..namely burke and scott...i also think the astros may have to re consider the bullpen situation and even though nobody will agree, shortstop may now be a competition...i think everett will probably start the season, but if someone can fill the void at the plate better, everett will be gone

yes hembo... I did already say it and I am going to continue to say it in response to the post right above mine. Wait on Scott? Scott has been just fine. Anderson will never have the power Scott has. Burke yes... I hope Burke is great, but he isnt and wont be. So I know next to nothing, but you agree with me? ?? wow!
