what i noticed from nieve was that as a reliever, the fastball was in the mid 90's, as a starter, low 90's if not lower.

I had forgotten about Nieve. That makes our pitching for next year look even better. I hope that we deal Lidge during the off-season or make him a set up man.

its clear he cant be trusted to close games...as shaky as the pitching looks for next season, the relief will need to be much better going forward
