hembo.... When you put together a coherant sentence maybe I will understand it. You havent done that the entire time you have been smelling up this place.
By the way... I am not paranoid. Who exactly were you talking about with the Berkman comments and the WS thing?? Who?? YOu are so full of sh*t.
Mike I agree.... Score more, give up less.....I think it can be done in 1 year. Sure it depends on young guys stepping up, but then again.. you can sign big money FA's and they flop. There is no sure thing. I just believe the foundation is there. Maybe I am looking with rose colored glasses, but I dont think we are that far off in the NLC.

Mike, i agree, you are right, this is going to take MORE than 1 year if we are going to to it the RIGHT WAY. This team needs a number 2 starter and develop Patton as a number 3, this should take MORE than 1 year. IS very difficult to win with a rookie catcher, we are going to need MORE than one year to develop Towels with Ausmus helping him. We need to give Backe some innings to see how his arm responds for a full year. Wandy could be a good NUMBER 5 pitcher if he pitches the SAME way he did this year with some improvement. Will the ASStroseat Woody's contract?  // I don't think so. Unless we sign a number 2 starter in FA (we don't have that pitcher right now), Patton develops as number 3 starter (right now he is injured) and Backe proves he is 100 percent back to be our number 4 and Wandy improves a little to hold that number 5 spot, our rotation is in big trouble. Our bullpen is even worse. So mike, YOU ARE REALISTIC when you say is going to take more than 1 year, at least we have a good GM (look what he did in Phillies, his players are in the playoffs) and the minor league system is in good shape, and we are heading in the right direction) but to say that this can be fix in 1 year is not realistic and thats why some people are wrong ALMOST ALL THE TIME. |

Not realistic? Cubs went from last to 1st. Happens all the time now in MLB. Will it happen, I doubt it. Is it possible? Yep!

I didn't realize Biggio pitched too. So now we are going to dissect his ERA? Didn't know he had one. On October 3rd the roof at MMP will miraculously open and he will ascend into heaven.....
