Is over...i have to say he didnt help this team this year but you should take comfort in the fact their losing was a team effort. It wasnt entirely his doing..Plus ,what i have seen from Burke ,i dont think the outcome would be any different ,and it very well could have been worse...
Anyways, Biggio will always be the best at his position in my book Regardless of what the stats say he was the best..Thanks biggio

I am in complete agreement about Biggio, he was one of the best .
The only thing I can say is that this team losing had more to do with pitching than Biggio. Biggio was far from the biggest problem

come on Dennis, it's obvious you haven't been listening to our fearless owner. He said our biggest problems were hitting, defense, then pitching. As long as Uncle Dratie is in charge, it's going to be hard to bet back to the World Series. However, it could be much worse, we could be Ranger fans.

There are alot of teams that could make it alot worse. This team will be alright. Drayton doesnt know what he is talking about and should just be ignored.
Keep in mind, we have been a little spoiled here the past decade.
Some dipstick in here seems to think it will be 6 years before this team will contend in the division again. Keeping in mind he knows NOTHING and the top team in the NLC only won 85 games..... I am not worried.

Hopefully the era of Vega whining about Biggio in every thread is over too.

Biggio has been very good for a very long time. I may go to Cooperstown in 5 years and watch him one more time.
As far as this team is concerned I know I am not the person you referred to as a dipstick but making a 200 run swing is not going to be an easy thing to do.

No, I didnt say that and havent been saying that for 3 years, although this team was in the WS 3 years ago.
Hembo... you really should try the truth. Quit lying about what people say just to deflect attention from how simple minded you truly are.
NO Mike, I wasnt refering to you. I dont think this team needs to score 200 more runs next season just to compete. 200 more runs this season would shatter what the Phillies scored by 40 runs. It is a more balanced attack that is needed.

Astrobuddy, my point on the 200 run swing is that we have to give up less and score more, not score 200 more runs though as you point out that would require a record pace.
Fixing our problem requires us to give up less and score more. That is a hell of a lot of improvement for one year.
