even better would be burke at 2nd.
I think this is the best lineup we can produce:
1. Burke 2b 2. Loretta 3b 3. Berkman rf (I've been asking for that for a looooooooooooong time, i don't think scott is good enough) 4. Lee lf 5. Pence cf 6. Lamb 1b 7. Ausmus 8. Everett SS 9. Pitcher
Biggio is awful, needs to retire.

This is the best lineup so far. Burke needs to come back up and replace the dead weight that is Jason Lane and someone needs to replace Orlando Palmiero. Burke would give flexibility to Garner.
Biggio isnt and doesnt need to retire yet. He has earned the right to get his 3000 hits and he will. He needs to play less and bat down in the lineup.
This is what needed to be done.
Now Berkman needs to get going.

I want to see the team win, I could give 2 sh*ts about an over the hill selfish ballplayer reaching a milestone.

burke wasnt given a chance....biggio has killed a lot of playing time for many and caused us to trade kent...fck his milestone.. although burke shouldnt be leading off at .185 avg

well, 4 to 1, game over, this team WILL NOT SCORE 4 runs to tie the game.
Time to watch other games, this one is ooooooover.
Woody, well, like i've said, is wasted money and Pettitte should had been sign instead of this bozo.

yep, and with woody, albers and wandy, this team has no chance to compete.
And with the lineups, even less.
Clemens and Pettitte knew what they were doing.

Albers isnt with the team anymore, Woody needs to be on his way out ans Wandy is doing ok. Wandy isnt hurting the team, his last start not withstanding.
Clemens and Pettitte are selfish a$$h*les. How did they know what they are doing? They had a better shot at the Playoffs and another WS with the Astros than with the Yankees. The Yankees wont sniff the playoffs this season.

I want to see the team win, I could give 2 sh*ts about an over the hill selfish ballplayer reaching a milestone. This damn milestone has done so much damage for the development of Burke that is stupid. I don't care about the milestone, i don't even care if he gets to 3,000 hits, I don't believe is well deserved. He is playing for the sake of that number eventough is not helping the team win, on the contrary. For 3 years a rookie has been stucked and is killing the team in many ways. Actually, i think i will not watch many games when i see Biggio is in the lineup, why??? Well, if team is not playing to win, and if they are not giving young guys a chance to develop while losing, why should we the fans be interested? ? If this organization is playing this year for the milestone and don't care to win, then i don't care about the team this year. When they start doing things like a professional baseball team should do with a vision and the RIGHT moves, then i will watch the team play but not when I have to watch a fat a$$h*le destroy this team and an old fart playing second when he should be spending quality time with his family.

Biggio needs to retire..........period. He's killing the team. But, we knew that Drayton would put the run for the 3,000 hits ahead of winning because it puts butts in the seats and money in Draytie's pockets.
