People are f**king stupid..It never fails to amaze me that people think they can outrun the police. Im sure the car was unmarked so hickey can probably beat that charge, but to refuse the officers is stupid. He may have thought it was some crazy fan or something and the fact he pulled over for a marked car more or less amplifies that, but his resisting was stupid...You cant win those things.
Hell he could have been shot in Texas ;D He did the smart thing about refusing breath test..A lawyer will beat it in court..You're going to go to jail regardless and its better to go losing your license and a fine than a DUI on record. ALWAYS refuse the breathalyzer...You didnt hear that from me though. The scumbag lawyer or the DUI will cost you the same. They will just have different outcomes.
Tell me this isnt true ab? maybe not in Texas but everywhere else a good lawyer will beat the DUi conviction w/o a breathalyzer test having been done

Not always.... that isnt the end all be all. It damn sure helps. But video is a beautiful thing. You cant have anything better than visual proof. Some peolple dont believe a machine, but they believe their eyes.
Lawyers cost isnt alway created equal either. Some cost more than others.
The bigger issue is Hickey is a tool. Running from the Police costs lives. He should be fired and banned from MLB for this.
