Is he getting paid? Where is the mistake. I swear he looked like he just didnt care in this series. That just shows you the Astros arent that far off. The Cubs looked completely overmatched.

The NL Central sucked. This series proved it. I hope Lou is glad that he pulled Zambrano in game one and saved him for Opening Day in 2008.

Remember... he is a HOF manager. He had Arod, Griffey in his prime and Randy Johnson in Seattle and couldnt win sh*t with them. But ole Lou Pinella is one of the best ever, if you listen to another one of our forum members.
Pinella is WAAAY overrated as are most former Yankees.

Barron, i agree, it was a mistake but Lou took this team to t'he playoffs, i reme'mber when some forum' members said taht was impossible because he was managing the Cubs plus that he was not a good manager.

He didnt take them anywhere... but nice try. He won the NLC in default because everyone else sucked. If they had won 95 games that would be diffferent. They didnt.

Screw it. As long as the Cubbies are sitting at home eating pizza and 'Kraut dogs, I'm happy!
