Astros Hall of Fame Broadcaster Milo Hamilton suffered a heart attack on Sunday October 7. He was taken to the hospital where doctors discovered he had a 99% blockage in his artery. He was treated with an angioplasty procedure. He is expected to make a complete recovery. Get Well Milo! You are one of the greatest to ever call the game!

Get well Milo.
That said, Milo needs to call it quits. It's obvious that he's in poor health. I'd hate to see him kick the bucket on air. Of course, with the Biggio 3000 campaign this year, Drayton could stump for fans to tune in to listen to Milo have a heart attack.

I have not listened to him call an entire inning over the past 2 and 1/2 seasons. I listen to the opponent's radio broadcast team on mlb.tv if Brownie and JD are not on the TV side. I simply cannot bear to hear the man say one single word. If he was ever "great", it certainly wasn't in Houston. Here, he was the most self-serving man to ever enter our sports scene. I fervently pray for him to retire.
