I'm watching the replay of Game 6. I am certain that this time, the good guys win. They led off the telecast with Brocklander's DP call on Reynold's 4-6-3. The ball was TWO FEET from Hernandez glove. Brocklander, that son of a b!tch was on the take. Nobody will ever convince me otherwise. Rot in hell, Brocklander, rot in hell.
PS - mlb.tv has a roster of great LCS games. Of course, this was the greatest of all time.

There were at least 5 pitches in the first 5 innings that were clearly strikes that Brocklander refused to call. Knepper could only shake his head and give a wry grin. Fnck you Brocklander.

Interesting tidbits from watching it again. Keith Hernandez said he caught Brocklander's eye on the Reynood's faux 4-6-3 and said ,"Out!". That might have been all it took for Brocklander to reflexively signal "Out" like a pithed frog. The commotion after Brocklander blew the call on the pitch Smith by rights k'ed Knight on was considerable. Ashby slapped his hand to his thigh in frustration. Knight seemed to shout something at Ashby. d*ckie Thon charged in toward the mound to tell Brocklander what a stinking pile of Dirty Sanchez he was. Lanier came out to "visit" Smith and ripped Brocklander a new hole. The BBGs can let the Rockies win 20 out of 21 games or whatever, but we couldn't get one stinking slider on the black called for a strike.
