has been around 3 years and in his second world series...  I dont think much of him but he got hosed on that called 3rd strike...Beckett is defintely getting the respect pitches or as we know them the glavinesmoltzmaddux pitch..i can see hurdle going out tehre if the rox dont get the same thing |

It was nice of the Astros to GIVE Taveras to the Rockies. They get rid of Jennings and obtain Taveras and go to their first World Series. Purpura should get a WS share for making that deal.

buch sucked..i dont know why people keep saying we lost out on the jennings deal..what was lost? none of those guys were great in houston? yes the deal itself sucked but so what? Those 3 guys were not the future of this team and if they were, the stros have a ton of problems ahead. buch isnt even on the WS roster,,, how good could he possibly be?
