It goes back to what I said about Garner being a player's manage, he's gotta stick with his guys. I'd have to say though, Draytie wouldn't let those salaries sit on the bench and do nothing.

loyalty at what price? they're already, what, 7 games back? yes its early but what if we get to August and we are in the same place? National papers are now asking why Lamb isnt playing..Its not the chronicle blasting garners moves, Its papers in other states or services like the AP... Garner is getting more questions by the day as to why some of these guys arent playing. Tough to spin why a guy batting .429 is riding pine behind a .219 hitter

I know..i just dont understand the logic behind it..whats he see we dont? defense...of course, but a few errors can be overlooked...
arod blew a run down the other day and last week threw one into the third row behind 1st base...wouldnt ya know it...torre kept playing him...
