Curious if anyone else feels the same way.
I was watching the train wreck that has become Houston Astros baseball last night and I found myself thinking something totally out of character for me: I wanted the Astros to lose. Seriously. I realized I was actually HAPPY they were losing again. So I turned off the game and thought about it for a minute. I concluded that I was rooting for my beloved Astros to lose because at this point, a 14 or 15 game skid might be the only thing that shakes management up enough to enduce changes.
Anyone else have similiar experience ?

I have to agree with you. Something needs to happen.

I see this as a way to make some extra cash.
I'm gonna print up some T-shirts and sell them in front of Minute Maid Park. The shirts will read.
Craig Biggio got 3000 hits and all I got was a last place team.

Uhh.. no, I dont wish for them to lose. The only thing that may happen with a long losing streak if Sean Berry getting fired. I doubt Garner gets fired and I can assure you Tim P aint going anywhere. But even if they did, it wont fix it. This is probably just going to be a down year. Hell it may be a down 2 years. So what can they do?

If they keep going 4-6, 5-5 over 10 game stretches, that might convince the powers that be that things are ok and we don't need changes.

The same management that keeps sending Biggio out to hit first or brings in White to pitch in a 1-0 game?

Personally, I think that Scrap Heap is smoking ganja in the Club House before he fills out the lineup card.
