UH.. Hunsicker traded Wagner so that one is on him.
Kile was a Free Agent and chose Colorado. Nothing the Astros could do.
Hampton was leaving anyway. So they traded him to get something out of it. They werent going to pay that insane money. ( How did that Hampton deal work out for the teams that got him?) Hampton has never been the pitcher he was after leaving here. I suspect the Astros knew something. Once again.. Hunsicker deal.
Carl Everett .. traded BY HUNSICKER.... had exactly 1 good year after leaving here. So no great loss.
Whats your point about these 3 players? They werent great players. They were all replaceable chips.
Wagner.. what do you expect? You call out your boss, you get fired.
