The Braves have dealt Edgar Renteria to the Tigers for two prospects and are out from under Andruw Jones' big contract. Could this mean that the Braves can be big players in the ARod sweepstakes? Personally, I don't think ARod will sign with an NL team. sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3085675

I don't think so either. He seems to be more of an AL type player. Not that I dislike the AL, quite the opposite. I wish the Leagues would re-align and the Astros would be in the AL. Won't happen though. Just like I wanted the Texans to be put in the NFC, but Dallas voted against that.

No AL for me. That would mean the Astros have to use a DH and that's not baseball.

Since the Dodgers have let Grady Little go and it appears that Torre is going there, ARod could very well end up in a Dodgers uniform, but, I still think he wants to stay in the AL.
