Rosenthal StoryI don't always buy what he says, but I could believe this is true.

although kaz would even be better..This guy is a lifetime .294 hitter with good speed, defense and OBp....I would sign him right away and cut burke

castillo is a very good player, better than burke and better than what biggio was 3 years ago, now, i would go pitching and cf first.

Not real sure where you guys are coming up with that but it will be interesting...who did the astros have that was better than biggio? last year, yes, loretta should have played every game...The year before though? who?

Burke, 2006, .276 average, .347 OBP and .418 slugging, OPS .746.
Remember, Burke had a good second half in 2005.
I expect those kind of numbers from Burke IF allowed to play.
You talk about Loretta, well, his OPS from last year wa .724, still lower tha Burke's 2006 numbers.
Last year Burke only had 319 at bats, we could see Burke getting 2 hits in a game and would not play for 3 or 4 games.
He would not play much at home because that was the games Biggio played almost exclusively.
Last year was a big mistake by allowing the 3,000 hit

Biggio is gone. Let it go. The fact that the new GM is trying to make some moves is a good thing and Castillo would definitely help matters. The Astros still need PITCHING. Wade needs to look at this first.
