I thought you would like that lineup.
I want to see what Pence can do in the 3 hole.

Nice pitch by Jennings on a 0 and 2 count.

If Pence does good at number 3, then Garner must grow balls and hit Berkman 2nd.

Who would you lead off? Loretta?

Until Berkman gets his bat going i would go this way:
1. Ensberg 3b 2. Loretta 2b 3. Pence cf 4. Lee lf 5. Berkman rf 6. Lamb 1b 7. Munson c 8. Everett SS 9. Pitcher
I just don't like Scott much, i don't think he is a good starter in the majors, he is more of a number 4 OFer, and he is NOT ONLY STARTING BUT HITTING 5TH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scott, low averge, high walks, ok power, a lot of Ks and ground ball to 2nd. Sounds familiar? ?? Ensberg? ?

I would have no problem with that Lineup if Lamb is hitting , but now he is in tank after getting regular playing time.

well, lamb gets a hit and scott ANOTHER ground ball to the right side of the infield.
I don't like Scott especially if he is going to hit 5th.
I see no reason why to pitch to Lee, if other teams do they are idiots when you have one of the worse, IF NOT THE WORSE number 5 hitter in baseball.

.. and if Lamb could play RF I would agree with you. But he cant.

nah, but, if you think a little harder you'll see that Berkman can play rf and lamb 1b, right? ?? Jennings is not pitching good, a lot of good balls hit against him. Only 2 homers but Pujols and Edmonds hit balls that could had ben homers in other ballparks. THE TRADE FOR THIS GUY IS ONE OF WORSE IN ASTROS HISTORY. Actually, Hirsh has more wins than this a$$h*le.

Jennings has NO VELOCITY on his pitches, scouts SAW THAT LAST YEAR, this was a wasted trade for Purp.
