now, next thing you should say is, Pujols is much better than Berkman, they are not in the same league.

I don't expect wins from this team, i want to see young guys hit. Biggio is an a$$h*le, 2 and 1 count he the a$$h*le swings at a ball in the dirt. Losing by 2, needing a runner to get on base, he swings at that pitch? 3 to 1 pitch, you can work a walk. I don't respect this guy anymore.

I never want Lane batting for me, especially with the tying run on base in the bottom of the 10th and 2 outs.

I don't even want Lane on this team. I would love to hear Purpura explain why we keep this clown on the roster to waste a roster spot.
Biggio does what he does way too much.......he got himself out being too stupid to have any patience.
I also wanted to reach through my TV and knock the hell out of Garner for allowing Wheeler to pitch to Pujols. It's time to hand the closer's job back to Lidge. Wheeler has been terrible lately.

I don't mind losing today, we saw why we are losing:
1. Garner 2. Biggio 3. Lane 4. Berkman not hitting one lick 5. Relievers having a bad year 6. Getting screwed on the Jennings trade (Purp has to go)
Lets see the young guys play.
Burke, Scott, Gutierrez, Ensberg. If Lane is not going to play, release him. Try and trade Ausmus to SD. Try and trade Jennings to Yankees, Red Sox, Mets, Detroit or Cleveland. Maybe A's or Seattle would be interested.
If Seattle is willing to trade Adam Jones i'll do that one in a new york minute.

Why not Lidge to Atlanta for Salty and another prospect or 2 ?
I dont want Lane even if he is going to play. He sucks and should be gone.
Coming off injury in his 2nd start, Jennings didnt pitch horrible.

same for carlos lee..did you watch the game on friday? a guy on, 1 out and carlos lee wit ha 3-2 count..he fouled off about 10 pitches before driving in the tying run...now why wouldnt you walk him in that situation and take your chances with ensberg? Its just poor baseball..ensberg of course f**ked up.....

Lee was an idiot to reach out and hit that pitch he grounded out on in his last at bat.
I'm glad Lane has been sent to RR but I had rather we released or traded him. At this point, I'm opposed to trading Lidge because he is the only reliever we have who gets anybody out. NoBall Qualls and Wheeler are pitching terrible. Wheeler doesn't have the stuff to be a closer.

But I would rather these guys be aggressive than that watching strikes crap.

lidge is too valuable, i would not trade him now. Qualls and wheeler had their chance, they did not do it, lidge is the guy.

Ok.. but if we are going to lose anyway, why keep Lidge? Trade him for young players. He makes too much money at this point and is the one reall trade piece we have. What if he falls apart again? No.. trade him now is the right move.
