Agree.
Looks like Scott is going to be traded, eventough i think he is better right handed hitter.

Scott does not bat ridht-handed. The Cruz signing is low risk and could end up being beneficial.

I know Scott is not right handed hitter, duhhhh
My point is, some people believe Cruz move might mean Scott is going to be traded in which i reply, i think Cruz hits MUCH BETTER right handed than left handed (he is switch hitter), meaning, Scott still has a lot of value as a left handed hitter and 4th OFer.

I had still rather have Scott than Cruz. Other than Bourn, I'd rather have Scott than any of the others Wade has brought in. Wade needs to get off his ass and find a closer. I wouldn't be4 surprised if he could get Billy Wagner back since he is apparently unhappy in New York. Of course, Draytie would never allow that because Wagner had the audacity to tell the truth about Draytie.

Cruz is a sub 250 lifetime hitter whose best days are behind him. Bringing him here means nothing more than veteran depth at AAA.
Scott can play left as well as right and in combination with Pence gives the outfield a lot of variables in case of injury. Lee gets hurt, Scott goes there, Pence gets hurt, Scott goes there, Bourn gets hurt - Pence moves back to cf and Scott goes to right. Scott gives us good insurance that should not be given up short of some combination of players that would get us a viable middle of the rotation guy or a closer and I just do not see that happening.

I think Cruz is a GREAT number 5 Ofer on this team. Good fielder, good runner, switch hitter, gets walks, and can play all 3 outfield positions.

Cruz Jr. is only 33 years old. He could still be a very productive player if he applies himself. His problem has always been between the ears.

I think senior would have been the one to give a glove to.. Has 11 years in and about 7 or 8 different teams..What a catch....There was some good news though...they are bringing famous amos to spring training(randolph) let the good times roll...

No Fred, the problem is not between his ears, the problem is he is not as good as people thought he was.
He is a guy with power, walks and very low average.
Thats Cruz.
