Got to agree with hembo here, did anyone even peek at the Tigers possible lineup? Tigers have a great shot at the world series while the Marlins are going to be wallowing in last place. And by the way, not only are Willis and Cabrera proven commodities, they're 24-25 year old ones.

Maybin and Andrew are really, really gooooooooooood.
I don't think the Marlins did bad on this deal, Willis is not that good.
Cabrera is awesome, but i take a 5 tool centerfielder ANY DAY over a future DH.

They might be great, and the Marlins seem to have a pretty good track record with gaining prospects, but the Tigers definitely did the right thing. With Pudge, Magglio, & Sheffield getting up there in years why not make your team great now with guys that'll be around for years.

nooooooooooo, he throws CONSISTENT 95, he can throw 98.
He is a lefty.
Right now i take Miller over Willis any day.
ONe is a number 3 starter, the other has the potential of becoming a number 1 starter.

Hembo, why did you ommit mentioning Kazmir? ?/ I said the SAME thing when Mets traded Kazmir to Tampa, BIG MISTAKE, and same applies with Miller. About the Cubs pitcher, well, they were GREAT until they got injured, same thing can happen to Willis, right? He could get injured same way Miller can, taht means we should trade Patton for an average pitcher?

The Mets traded Kazmir for a bad pitcher that I don't remember the name of. Big difference.

South, wrong, Miller = Kazmir IN TALENT.
Who cares about the trades,is talent. By the way, the pitcher was Zambrano.
