No matter how you slice it, Roger clemens being found out as a cheat ,really is a sad day for baseball...he and Bonds had it all.. Arguably the two best at their positions EVER and they kept on playing. Both were sure hall of famers many years ago. In order to defy age they cheated.. These two guys should be ashamed of theirselves. How many millions of kids wanted to be them someday? How many of their teammates wished for a season like they produced? its all for nothing now....very sad

Very predictable. It doesn't sadden me at all. He's been a grade A US prime anus his entire career. And he'll never be man enough to admit he cheated. Yeah, super-human training regimen - his needle pricked butt.

His lawyers are already whining for his ass saying tha this is a scandalous report and how he never tested positive. Just look at him when he started and then again about the time he went to the Blue Balls errr...I mean Blue Jays and then during his first hitch with the Yankers. He and Bonds both started getting big heads and bulking up around the same time. Coincidence? I think not.

texiban - I look back on pictures of myself from 15 to 20 years ago and I'm bigger in the face, waist, etc. But you're right, Bonds and Clemens look morph-ed into an entirely different physique. You look back at guys like Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine, Nolan Ryan, Tom Seaver, Warren Spahn, Larry Dierker - you know they never juiced and their bodies looked like what bodies are supposed to look like as a guy gets into middle age. I hope Greg Maddux ranks ahead of Clemens after all the fallout as thepre-eminent pitcher of his era. He did it with brains, guile and the body he was given.
