Blyleven was damn good. One of the best curves of any pitcher in history.

he got hosed... Jim Rice was good but what exactly did he do Hall worthy? Dawson as well...great ballplayers but so what....Im not big on letting relievers(one trick ponies in) but gossage was about the rivera of his day... the good news is Mcgwire came up a little short

btw..they said Blyleven has the second most wins for retired ballplayers not in the hall...who had more? Couldnt have been much more as everyone with 300 is in

Just looked it up, Blyleven actually has the 3rd most, if you count Bobby Mathews from the late 1800s. For modern day players, Tommy John is at 288, Blyleven at 287.
