those are really good odds. I think I may put a buck or two on that.

not that it matters, as nobody will bet on them, but the other top teams in that division
cubs odds on cent championship 10-11 brewers 9-5
with the astros you win 10 on every dollar you bet the cubs for every 10 you only get 11 in return
who do the cubs have?

A buck or two is a slang term meaning 1000 or 2000. The last bet I made on the Astros I got in just before the Pettitte and Clemens signing. The odds were really good and changed quite a bit after the signings. Maybe the mojo will work again and we will get a pitcher worth a damn.

i only bet the 250.00 as those are ridiculous odds for that division..on that note..i have zero confidence in them being NL champs..hence the reason i am not doing the 25/1 odds

Central Champs is the cap in my mind as well. If they win that I will be pleased and if they play for the pennant that would be beyond any reasonable persons expectations.

W/ Tejada they will have arguably one of the best lineups in baseball and almost certainly the best in the NL....The only problem i can see with this team driving in 6-7 runs a game is that it will no doubt likely be at least 3 short...i dont see this teams pitching as very effective..

The line up has great potential and is easily a top 4 in the NL. How the rookies do will determine if it is the best or only very good.

well they keep talking about the astros having perhaps the best bullpen in MLB...I keep scouring the internet for these mystery relief wonders, but i guess its hidden somewhere?
like i said..i have absolutely zero confidence in them getting past any first round of anything...even w/o Tejada they will be in competition.... nl
Mets, Astros, San Diego
AL BOSOX Detroit angels
bosox or detroit wins WS

i will add this though...come half season, if the astros are winning, i wouldnt be surprised if wade gets some pitching..the bad part is who could they give up for them?
