When was the last time this guy played that he didn't make an error on an easy ground ball? With runners on base, it is guaranteed that he will strike out or pop up. He is embarrassing himself and the team. I know I've said this before but watching the team struggle partly because Biggio sucks is getting old.

Well, all he has done has gone to the toilet because he stayed toooo long. How in this world can we respect a guy that did this to us and the organization? For what? / So he gets 3,000 hits? ??/ Is pitiful, a disgrace. For 3 years this guy is one of the worse second basemen, astros let Kent go, astros did not give the at bats necessary to Burke in the past 2 years, and this a$$h*le continues to play.

Honestly, I didn't think he would look this bad. Drayton wondered why Dierker didn't go all out to win spring training games. Now, we have to ask Drayton why he doesn't go all out to win regular season games. How odd....

When was the last time this guy played that he didn't make an error on an easy ground ball? The last time the official scorer was nice and let him get by not getting to a ground ball any other 2nd baseman would have gotten to. Since he doesn't get leather on the ball, they can't call it an error.

At this stage of his career, he is the worst second baseman I've ever seen. It's a pity that he and managment are putting his 3,000 hits above the team having a chance to win. Last night, he continued to hamper the offense while making yet another error on a ball a little league second baseman would have played.

He must have a lot of people hired to stuff the ballot box. He shouldn't even be considered for the All-Star team.

I think his voters must be suffering from "Sanjaya Syndrome".

Since when has fan voting for the All Star Game been anything more than a Popularity contest?
Bonds is 3rd in the OF balloting. Why? What has he done that is so much better than numerous other players except have a big ego and abig head to put it in?
That is just one example.

The NBA is the same way. I remember one year, that Grant Hill was voted to start and didn't even play a game due to injuries that year. Since the game actually means home field avantage, the fans should not be allowed to vote. It should be the players and coaches only. Not that that will ever happen.

At most, the fan's vote should be a part of the decision as should the players and managers votes.

I can understand why MLb lets the fans vote for the starters but the rest is BS... each team must be represented. This has usually been BS...ausmus was an all star in detroit a few years back of course but he was there..brad ausmus was their best player..The royals sent some dude recently, who had a 5.00 era...he was their best
if a team doesnt have a player who should be there than they shouldnt get to send anybody.....i thought derek bell sucked but he got hosed on the all star team in the early 90's..he had a monster first half
I knew the AS game was bs when canseco got voted in once..at the time he was in the minor leagues....he was on the ballot but had spent most of the first half down on the farm...
no way does biggio get picked..if he doesnt get in by the fans he will not be chosen by anybody else...utley and uggla most likely...If utley doesnt start you know its bs...
