In a few days they will be reporting, And All I see on this board is piss and moan about stuff no one really give a crap about. This board is more interested in the negative talking than talking about the team and it chances. Who give a crap about Clemens and what he did, who the hell really cares.
I don't know about most of you on this board but I sure am looking forward to Spring Training. its a new year and I have some worries about pitching but we just may hit the Luck Bug and some of the guys really come thru.

After last year there is reason to "piss and moan" about this team. I'm looking forward to a team without Bagwell and Biggio taking up a roster spot. Ed Wade has rebuilt the roster to the point where they just might get lucky seeing as the Astros are in the NL Central. My concern is the pitching and how the catching is going to be called on a game to game basis. It's a given that Ausmus will not be the everyday catcher. I hope that he shares his knowledge of the game with the younger guys so they can get a bit of a head start at spring training.

This could be the worst starting rotation in club history. Unless a couple of decent starters are located, this club won't smell the playoffs let alone qualify for them.

on the other hand, this year SP could come away with more than last two years, you dont know until the real season starts anyway. HEY I can hope cant I

If Wandy continues to improve, Woody IMPROVES on last year, and Backe is able to pitch better than average, with our lineup and bullpen we can make some noise.
We need for Paulino or another starter to really step up big time.

This is a 1 man rotation and the 2nd or 3rd worst starting staff in MLB...Hands down...the good news is they have one of the best relief staffs around...i look for these guys to get plenty of opportunity to play..Im guessing the stros will have relief, in most games, within the 3rd inning or so...

The offense will be huge, but while they drive in 5 or 6 the pitching may give up 7 or 10...vega is right...NEED 2 pitchers before all star break...if that doesnt happen these guys will be out by all star break again
