Then again ;D That era concerns me for sure...You could say thats because he played in colorado and the american league, but he played in pittsbugh the last 2 years and it wasnt good there either...maybe a 5th starter...you cant have 4 out of your 5 pitchers with an era average of over 5.00..thats just not good...Need a solid #2 or its over at the beginning

I think they are depending on Wandy as #2 and that will prove to be a disaster.

I know the Astros front office is hoping that this starting pitching staff will hold on just enough to give the Astros offense the edge to put more "W's" in the Win column than "L's" in the Loss column.
Personally, as a realist, I don't know how this current crop of starting pitchers can be good enough over 162 games to make this team a legitimate competitor. It's as though the coaching staff just simply put together a bunch of pitchers with baling wire and screamed "fire in the hole" and is hoping that after the smoke clears that something positive will emerge from the rubble.

Their offense will keep them in most of the games..This season will come down to how good the bullpen is for sure...This team has the best hitting lineup in the national league..In my opinion they have the second best overall..I was so confident i bet 600.00 on them and got 10/1 odds..Im an certified astro fan this year
i bet 400 with 10/1 odds for their division
100 with 30/1 odds on NL champs
100 on 60/1 odds WS champs
